“Seats taken”

We don’t know about you but we never rode the bus 3 kids to a seat when we were kids. Our kids are struggling on their bus rides to school. Some kids are sandwiched between two kids for 45-60min long rides to and from school.

We have spoken with many parents whose kids are breaking down over the thought of riding crammed in with two other kids first thing in the morning or at the end of a long day. So now, we are driving and picking up and that scenario is difficult to work efficiently in such a large school.

We called transportation and they said they can legally have 78 kids per bus. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. We looked into it further. The district is hiring. Know anyone who might be interested?
